Birthday Girl
Posted on November 22, 2009
I just have to post this – can’t believe we have a 7 year old girl now. I almost typed “little girl,” but she’s not really little anymore, is she? Her birthday was Friday, and she had a sleepover last night where they spent most of their time playing the HSM3 dance game on XBox 360.
Happy Birthday, baby girl.

Sneak Peek – Indianapolis Children’s Photographer

I am so excited to finally post my two sneak peeks. I miss my internet at home. Hopefully, I will have my new modem and have it up and running in the next couple of days. Until then, I have to use other resources. This session was so much fun. Lane’s mommy and I went to jr. high and high school together. Our pregnancies even overlapped a bit when I was carrying Mason, and Lane was almost a Mason.
Lane was true to his age and not real into having his pictures taken, but I got plenty of good ones out of him. He’s adorable and a sweetheart. Enjoy!
Sneak Peek – Redhead Alert!
Posted on October 20, 2009
Being a redhead myself (and having 2 little redheads), I have a special place in my heart for copper locks and freckles.
In photographing Carter this past weekend, I discovered that they are really awesome to photograph in the fall! We went to Blast-Off (Williams Park) and let him play – which was both good and bad for trying to get portraits. But he was really great and so much fun. Here’s a sneak peek! Oh, and check OUT those blue eyes!

Something Different

I typically post only sneak-peeks from my sessions on this blog these days, but I got in a great session with some important people in my life yesterday. . . . my family. We took a trip to Beasley’s Orchard to get our pumpkins, and we went with our best friends, the Odums. Beasley’s is so great – we love it there. It’s an annual tradition. We took a hay ride back to the pumpkin patch, and after that we spent some time (and money) in the Market. We bought apple butter, carmel corn pops, fudge, and I think our friends bought cider too. The place is wonderful. Anyway, I wanted to share some pictures I took during our trip. Of course, the one thing about being the photographer is that I am never in pictures. But that’s OK! I hope you enjoy these! *The boy in the Spiderman hat is my best friend’s little boy, Finn, who you have seen before on this blog if you’re a long-time reader.

"E" Family – Sneak Peek!

This little boy is so much like my son. He gave me quite a challenge! His sister was a perfect little model. They both have such gorgeous blue eyes! We had a blast with this fall session at Arbuckle Acres. Enjoy the peek!

Another Peek for Dee

I’ve been backlogged on my editing because I’ve been finishing a wedding, and my dear best friend has been so patient with me. So I’m busting my behind, and here are a few more peeks for you Dee. Can I just say how much I am in love with the one of Lillie?!

Sneak Peek for Sheryl

I had the pleasure of photographing the son of my co-worker this evening. And can I just say – look at those EYES! I’m told he has no interest in the girls yet, but boy do they have an interest in him! He has been waiting to cut his hair until we got these done, so I think he’s happy now.
Thanks Levi, for having fun with me today! Enjoy!
