Your Photographer

I always knew I was supposed to have some creative occupation. I used to think it was dancing and singing. Couldn’t draw if my life depended on it. But photography? Oh, photography. I’ve always been one to take lots of pictures just because I’m sentimental. But it became a passion, no an obsession after my son was born.

I use available light whenever possible and only pull out the flash when I have no other option. Natural light is very flattering and beautiful. I’m a lover of photojournalistic photography, often referred to as “lifestyle” photography. I will be shooting even in between shots. Some of those random moments captured turn out to be session favorites.

From time to time I post personal shots from my life. You might see my husband, who I adore and have been married to for almost 7 years. I say might because he hates having his picture taken. You will definitely see my daughter, who is 7 and a total ham in front of the camera, and you will see my son, who is 2 and so far takes completely after his father. You may even see our dogs. We have two now. I choose to share some of my life with you, because I want you to feel like you know me a bit when we work together. I want to have fun and have everyone relaxed.

My personal style is not for everyone, and that’s OK. That’s why I display as much of my work as I can right here, so that you can get a feel for me and what I do. I hope you like what you see, and I hope we get to work together soon!
