Welcome to my new blogsite!

Posted on June 24, 2010

I am so very excited to welcome you to my new blogsite.  I have been hard at work on making this what I want it to be.  I have only migrated session posts over so that there is focus to this blog.  I am excited to share with you the new sessions I have in the works, coming soon.  :-)   I am still working on getting all of the galleries up and running.  You can see above to follow me on Twitter, or you can become a fan of my page on Facebook.  Thanks for stopping by!

Kelly Foster 2009
This is the first time I’ve entered an iheartfaces challenge, but I just had the perfect picture for it. The theme of the week is “Smiles,” and immediately this image came to mind. This cutie is Isaac, and I have had the pleasure of documenting his first year of life. He was 4 months old here. This is one of my favorite images of Isaac ever. I hope you enjoy it!
UPDATE 5/1/10: I get to add a button to this post. :-) I Heart Faces Favorite

Owens Family Session

Posted on December 3, 2009

So I promised another look at the swap session, and here it finally is! Tricia, Ken, Elvis, and Wrigley were so much fun to photograph. The bright colors of the clothing they chose (courtesy of Old Navy) really complimented my high-saturation style. Yes, I LOVE color! I had such a great time, and we have to do this again next year. Thanks so much for swapping with me, and I’m glad to have a photog buddy. :-)

I had the pleasure of photographing Mr. Isaac this past Saturday. Even though he was clearly not up for much of it, he was a trooper and I got some gorgeous shots. It’s been fun to see how much he changes every three months. I also had the pleasure of meeting Sam’s parents and sister, and they were a blast to work with. Enjoy!

We’ve Been Blogged!

Posted on November 22, 2009

Check out our sneak peek here! Tricia came to Brownsburg today to do a session for us. Too long since we had family pictures, and I think she did a fantastic job! Mason was difficult of course, but I know she still got good ones out of him. I am so thrilled! I’ll be posting more from their session soon. Thank you so much, Tricia! We had a blast!

Birthday Girl

Posted on November 22, 2009

I just have to post this – can’t believe we have a 7 year old girl now. I almost typed “little girl,” but she’s not really little anymore, is she? Her birthday was Friday, and she had a sleepover last night where they spent most of their time playing the HSM3 dance game on XBox 360. :-) Happy Birthday, baby girl.

Photographer Swap!

Posted on November 14, 2009

So a little while ago, I returned from a session with Tricia of Tricia Owens Photography. We are doing a session swap, so I got to take shots of her, her hubby Ken, and their adorable pooches Elvis and Wrigley. :-) Elvis is an old man and was not having the whole thing, but we got the shots. I am so excited for her to do our family’s session next Saturday!! It was so great to meet you and your family, Tricia! Here’s just a little sneak peek!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I felt old as soon as she got out of her car. What a total sweetheart, and gorgeous to boot. She is a natural in front of the camera. I have no idea how any photographer could churn out a bad picture of her! Here is a sneak peek of some of my favorites from her session so far. I hope you enjoy them, Kasi! I cannot believe it is the Class of ’10 already. Sheesh.
